The Ion Implanter This animation represents the path an ion beam takes on it's way through an accelerator that implants ions onto silicon wafers used in microchip manufacturing. The beam is regulated and shaped as it passes through various gates. At the end the beam reaches its destination, the spinning silicon wafers. This project was commisioned by the manufacturer of the implanter. Running time was about 10 seconds.
